Event organiser, easyFairs UK Ltd today announced a new venue, dates and partnership for their RETAIL 2011 trade show next year. The Business Design Centre, Islington, London will host RETAIL 2011 which will take place from 5th to 7th April 2011, alongside The VM and Display Show.
“We truly believe this is great news for the industry,” comments Matt Benyon, easyFairs® UK Managing Director. “UK retail sales are hitting back and so are we - with new dates, a great new venue at the heart of London’s creative sector and a new partnership with RVM Promotions. The result is RETAIL 2011 alongside The VM and Display Show, creating a brilliant new event for all sectors of the industry, a real face-to-face business networking opportunity for the whole industry. These are very exciting developments which will guarantee a much stronger overall audience and deliver a definitive event for the industry on an annual basis.”
Andrew Colclough of RVM Promotions Ltd explains, “Over the years we have established The VM and Display Show as a highly successful event for the visual merchandising and display industry. The exhibition, now in its 20th edition, is one of the longest running UK retail shows and provides solutions for all visual merchandising needs with spectacular stands and a buzzing and friendly atmosphere. Co-locating with RETAIL 2011 brings a new set of exhibiting companies to the party, showcasing new products areas from fixtures & fittings and shelving systems to digital communications and signage - a great step forward for the whole sector.”
“easyFairs are great show organisers to work with,” according to Lawrence Cutler, director of the Shop & Display Equipment Association (sdea) supporters of the RETAIL show. “They have totally reshaped RETAIL 2011 to better suit, not only sdea members but the display sector as a whole. The new initiatives, including an extra show open day, will mean that the event will reach more of exactly the right people, while the easyFairs model means that it won’t cost a fortune to exhibit. In these constrained times the easyFairs model of straightforward, cost-effective exhibiting is absolutely perfect. It offers our members a low cost way to reach hundreds of new customers.”
The complementary INTERIOR FIT OUT show, supported by the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS), is also co-located attracting architects, designers and other specifiers involved in interior fit-out, as well as specialist contractors and suppliers. Jane Cook, AIS Operations Director, adds: “The move to the Business Design Centre and co-location demonstrates great initiative by easyFairs and will be great for all three shows. Prising people away from their desks and out of the office is getting harder and harder, so the more we can offer to encourage specifiers to attend the better.”
Benyon concludes, “There is a natural cross-over of visitors between the shows and this new ‘3 for 1’ offer gives busy buyers more than one reason to come and visit in these challenging times. I believe RETAIL 2011 will be a huge success.” |
