BAGGEE introduces the new DOGGEE

After a successful launch at Top Drawer Autumn and a great show at Harrogate Home & Gift business has picked up brilliantly for the BAGGEE & DOGGEE. Added endorsement for the product came when we were short listed for the Gift of The Year Award from the Giftware Association. Jaq Croft, the Baggee designer, has been interviewed on Simon Mayo’s Radio 2 Drive Time Show which saw our online sales rocket.

We have also been featured in the Gift Focus Magazine and are one of ten best products showcased from a pick of the shows by Department Store Buyer magazine.

The BAGGEE is the solution for all those times you've arrived at the checkout, only to discover you've forgotten your bags! It is made from BSI compliant, medical grade recyclable material, sourced in the U.K. and madein England.

It is a design-led, tactile product that not only can be used to store plastic bags but also as an extra pocket for any number of ‘stuffable’ items such as nappy sacks, tissues, surgical gloves and plumbers shoe covers.

The BAGGEE is a flexible, hollow ball on a keychain that can accommodate several of those pesky plastic bags that usually lurk in your drawers and cupboards or under the kitchen sink, but are never with you when you actually need them!

The BAGGEE comes in six ‘on trend’ colours so you can coordinate them with your clothes, your car or handbag! With a practical spring lever keyring (no more broken nails ladies!) and colours to suit the most ‘girly’ girl and the most ‘macho’ male, we think you’ll be proud to carry a BAGGEE!

THE DOGGEE©

For the dog lovers out there, we’ve designed the DOGGEE. How many times have you taken Fido for walkies with your pockets bulging with dog pooh bags or worse still – no bags at all?! As long as you have your keys on you, you’ll always have bags. The DOGGEE is a flexible hollow ball on a keychain that can accommodate 20-30 dog refuse bags. The spring lever keyring can also attach to Fido’s lead and comes in six exciting colours to coordinate with your outfit, your car or possibly even Fido! (Have you been to Cannes lately?)

The BAGGEE & DOGGEE were designed by former Hollyoaks actress, Jaq Croft who has now taken on a new role as a ‘Bag Lady’! Jaq, who spent three years in the Channel 4 soap as Carrie Owen says, “I saw a gap in the market and although I have no experience of business, I needed this product and the only way to get one was to make it myself!”

We use around 13 billion plastic bags in the U.K. alone, every year, so it makes sense to reuse them as much as we can. Okay, so you’re not tying yourself to a tree in the rainforest but you’re still doing your bit for the environment. So hold your head high…be proud to be BAGGEE!

The BAGGEE is available online at www.BAGGEE.com from January 19th 2010. The BAGGEE is made from BSI compliant recyclable materials sourced in the UK and is made in Britain.
