The England Netball Squad will be appearing at Moda Lingerie & Swimwear this weekend to announce the launch of its official partnership with leading sports underwear brand Freya Active.
On Sunday 19 February, the Squad will spend the day putting the new Freya Active Black Samba Sports Bra to the test by performing numerous challenges on a custom-made netball court, close to the Freya Active stand, to demonstrate the product’s ability to hold, support and minimise movement whilst exercising and playing sport.
Placing the UK’s most celebrated women’s sports team as ambassadors for the label couldn’t be better matched. Joanna Adams, Head of Marketing and Commercial at England Netball said; “We’re very excited to have Freya Active onboard. They are an established sports brand with great presence so we can’t wait to see how the partnership develops.”
The collaboration will not only strengthen the synergy between sports and fashion whilst positively raising the profiles of both parties, but will push a greater message of raising awareness about the importance of wearing the correct bra as not to hinder performance when partaking in sports and exercise.
Experts in the field of designing lingerie and bra-sized swimwear for fuller busted women with a sports-driven lifestyle, Freya Active reveal they were honoured to be approached by England Netball to become an official partner and have been awarded the title of “Official Sports Bra Supplier” to the Squad who are FastNet World Champions, as well as the Senior National squads and Superleague squads.
Ann Marie Manley, Head of Marketing at Freya Active added: “We are absolutely thrilled to have partnered with England Netball. Netball is energetic, edgy and feminine so it is a great match for Freya Active. The England Netball Squad are absolutely fantastic and the sport does not always get the recognition it deserves so we are really looking forward to working with them.” |
