UXUS has created the inaugural official Miffy shop-in-shop located within the V&D department store in Amsterdam. The launch November 2009 is the first of many to be featured in the on going refurbishment of the Dutch department stores.

The inspiration for the Miffy shopping experience is based on the idea of a ‘Coloring Book Village’ and follows Miffy’s Dutch creator Dick Bruna’s graphic style, inviting customers to browse and explore a world of Miffy products. A giant interactive Miffy greets children and whimsical fixture units designed in the shapes of houses, fences and flowers hold a world of Miffy products. 

The installation is not fixed and sits in an area of approximately 20m² and is made of printed laminate and medium-density fibreboard (MDF).
