Sales of binoculars up 52% at John Lewis

With the BBC’s Autumn Watch in full swing, department store John Lewis has seen sales of binoculars soar 52% year on year, as customers invest in ways to get closer to nature.

Rob Hennessy, buyer for imaging at John Lewis says, “We have seen a significant spike in sales of binoculars since the Autumn Watch series began. In particular lightweight and shock resistance models are flying off the shelves.”

John Lewis stocks 21 different styles of binoculars, from key brands including Celestron, Steiner, John Lewis, Nikon, and Leica with prices ranging from £49 to £1,549.
