Department store, John Lewis reports that sales of food preparation are up 27% following the first three episodes of The Great British Bake Off on BBC 2.

Paul Martin, buyer for small electricals at John Lewis says, “Since The Great British Bake Off started we have seen sales of food preparation steadily grow week on week. The KitchenAid Stand Mixer is leading the way in the category with Almond being the most popular colour.”

John Lewis stocks a wide range of food processors, hand mixers and stand mixers. KitchenAid Stand Mixers, from £389 are available in seven stunning finishes; Cranberry, Metallic Pearl, Red, Blue, Almond, Candy Apple Red and Black.
