What More UK appoint company solicitor

What More UK Limited, based at Shuttleworth Mead, Padiham, Lancashire, have added to their growing management team by appointing their own company solicitor, Tom O’Neill.

Tom 29, from Clayton Le Moors, near Accrington will be responsible for all of company’s legal requirements including property matters, distribution and exclusivity agreements, copyright, trade mark and design protection and the general day-to-day commercial activities.

Tom said: “Many companies of this size have their own in-house legal departments and I’m the first one to join What More UK, so I get to put my own personal stamp on the role. From the customer’s point of view a company with an in-house lawyer has a great advantage because agreements and contracts can be negotiated and concluded directly with customers, rather than having to instruct an external law firm. It’s so much quicker.”

What More UK currently employs 162 people and have 350,000 sq.ft of manufacturing and warehousing space in East Lancashire.

In his spare time Tom enjoys keeping fit by playing football for Rimmington F.C. near Clitheroe, and looking after his two young children.
